Our school is located at 550 Lowell Street in Manchester, New Hampshire. Our elementary school (K-5) has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. We believe that all students are capable of learning and that they deserve to be challenged to the highest possible achievement. Students are active participants with their parents in promoting their social, academic, and emotional growth. We strive to provide a safe and secure environment that is conducive to learning and we continue to encourage parents to actively participate in their child's education.Together we can make our school #1. We have a talented and dedicated staff that work extremely hard at McDonough School. The Responsive Classroom Curriculum is part of every classrooms' daily routine. Each classroom starts the day with a morning meeting to share experiences and to help prepare for the day ahead. We also have many extra-curricular programs. which include a travel basketball team and cheer team. Leader In Me awards are given every Friday to students who were seen following one of the seven habits. We are very proud of our school.
