This week, Manchester School District announced we will launch our first dual-language immersion program in the fall of 2024. The Spanish-English program will start at the elementary level, with two classes of kindergarten students, and it will be open to students from across the city. We'll be hosting a pair of informational sessions on the program – one in Spanish (at 4:30 pm) and one in English (at 5:30 pm) – next Wednesday, October 4, at Memorial High School. Join us at National Night Out this Tuesday from 5-8 pm at Beech Street School/JFK Coliseum. Look for the Manchester School District table to learn more about our job opportunities, and get info on the importance of good attendance. There will be lots of free entertainment, activities (including the Bookmobile!) and plenty of helpful information for families – we hope to see you there!

🔅 Summer Learning Spotlight: Manchester School District's summer learning programs are now in full gear, so over the next week, we'll be highlighting these awesome programs. New this year, Blast Off to Kindergarten offers incoming kindergarten students a chance to learn about how school works before actually starting school. In addition to the main clubhouse on Union Street, the Boys & Girls Club operates on site at Jewett Street School and Highland-Goffe's Falls Elementary.
